During an interview, 49% of employers know within the first 5 minutes and 87% of employers know within the first 15 minutes if a candidate is a good or bad fit for the job.

2000 Hiring Managers’ were surveyed on mistakes and errors during an interview.

-55% appeared disinterested
-53% dressed inappropriately
-50% spoke negatively about their past employer
-49% answered their cell phone or text message
-39% were uninformed about the job or the company
-33% could not provide specific examples
-32% did not ask good questions
-20% gave too much information
-17% asked personal questions

-70% had no eye contact
